Sugar is an effective natural ingredient to invigorate plants and revive them , especially when they begin to lose their color in winter. In fact, the lack of light during this cold season of the year can lead to yellowing of plant foliage. To avoid this, simply spread a teaspoon of powdered sugar on the floor. You can also mix sugar and ground coffee, which is a good fertilizer for plants . This mixture will give the plants a boost and stimulate their root growth. Then water the soil to incorporate the mixture. If this trick is effective, it is because plants need glucose to feed themselves, but also to promote the development of their root system.
