  • 3 ripe and fragrant oranges
  • 3 eggs
  • 160 grams of sugar
  • 200 ml of vegetable oil
  • 200 ml of milk
  • Orange zest (grated)
  • 360 grams of flour
  • 1 sachet of baking powder (approximately 10 grams)
  • 15 grams of coffee
  • 1/2 tablespoon of butter (for greasing)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of flour (for greasing)
  • 300 ml of milk (for sprinkling)
  • Desiccated coconut (for sprinkling)

Instructions:

  1. Peel and cut the oranges into small pieces, placing them in a bowl.
  2. Use an immersion blender to blend the oranges into a smooth puree.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil. Add milk and grated orange zest, blending until creamy.
  4. Combine the orange puree with the creamy mixture using a whisk, ensuring a delicate integration.
  5. Sift flour and baking powder into the mixture, gently folding until well combined.
  6. Grease a baking tray with butter and flour, spreading part of the mixture evenly. Reserve at least 1/4 of the mixture in the bowl.
  7. Add 15 grams of coffee to the remaining mixture in the bowl, blending well.
  8. Layer the coffee-infused mixture onto the orange layer in the baking tray, creating small circles.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for approximately 40 minutes.
  10. Once baked, sprinkle 300 ml of milk using a teaspoon and top with desiccated coconut.
