Methods for fighting moles!

As you know, moles are wise animals, difficult to catch and drive away from the yard and garden. That is why, if you cannot catch them with the help of traps or drive them away with various methods, such as using the heads and entrails of salted herring, you can try the fighting variant, which we will describe in this article.

It is creolin, a chemical compound with a very shrill and unpleasant smell!

YOU NEED:

-a thick knife;

– a stick;

-creolina;

-Water;

-wadding;

-stones;

-1.5 liter plastic bottles.

PROCEDURE:

1.Carefully remove the soil from the mole with a knife or other flat tool: strive to perform only flat movements, in a horizontal direction. After reaching the ground level, you will notice the circumference of the hole, which leads to the tunnel of this animal.

2. Take a stick and carefully insert it inside the circumference to unblock the entrance to the tunnel. Then try to find its direction (usually the tunnel has a horizontal path, which becomes slightly vertical at the level of the hole on the ground surface).

3. If you have discovered several mounds in your yard or garden, do the same with each of them.

4.Dissolve 3-4 tablespoons of creolin in 4-5 liters of water. Pour a glass of the solution obtained into each hole.

5.Then pour 4-5 drops of creolin onto a piece of cotton wool. Bend it a little to cover the creolin and insert it into one of the holes. Do the same with all tunnel entrances.

6. Cover the tunnel entrances with appropriately sized stones, and then also with earth. Finally press the ground well with your foot.

7. Also, you can take a plastic bottle and bury it in the ground so that its upper third remains on its surface. Remove the bottle cap. Thus, when the wind blows, a turbulent air flow will be created inside the glass, the noise of which will spread throughout the tunnel, disturbing the mole (he has very fine hearing).

It would be best to drive the mole out of the yard or garden in early spring, until the chicks appear in the nest (late March – early April). After that, there is no way to fight it effectively!

If you were unable to get rid of moles during the spring, try applying methods to combat it during the autumn, when their chicks will leave the nest.

Good work!
