Today we decided to present you another way to freeze strawberries: quick and easy!
INGREDIENT:
-fresh strawberries;
-sugar.
COOKING:
1.Cover the strawberries with cold water. Leave them to soak for a while, then wash them and place them in a colander so that all the water drains from them. Then clean them from the stems and any damaged parts.
2.Place the peeled strawberries on a suitable plate and sprinkle them with sugar (adjust the quantity to taste, depending on the sweetness of the fruit). Mix with the help of a wooden spoon (it would be better not to use metal utensils, since strawberries contain acids, which enter into oxidation reactions with metals).
3.Transfer the strawberries with all the juice they have released into the saucepans. In such containers they keep better than in plastic bags, they do not form ice crystals and have a more pleasant consistency after thawing. Close those containers tightly.
4.Place the strawberry casseroles in the freezer.
As you know, frozen fruits and vegetables contain more vitamins than canned ones. Therefore, store strawberries in the freezer and enjoy their wonderful taste in winter.
