Another summer salad recipe to try without delay! If you love sweet and savory, this Hawaiian salad is for you! Quick and easy to prepare, it is, as often happens, the presentation that will make it a salad to enjoy at work or a delicious appetizer for your guests. For this last option, keep the pineapple bag to present your creation. Guaranteed “wow” effect!

- 150 g of raw rice
- 2 kiwis
- 200 g pineapple preferably fresh
- 200 g of cooked prawns

COOKING:

- Cook the rice, drain it and let it cool (at room temperature then in the fridge if you need time before making the rest of the recipe).
- Diced pineapple (preferably fresh pineapple). Peel the kiwis and cut them into cubes too.
- Rinse and drain the corn.
- Cut the surimi into cubes. Shell the prawns if this does not happen.
- Pour the rice into a bowl, then add all the ingredients (pineapple, kiwi, corn, prawns and surimi).
- Prepare a vinaigrette: 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 3 tablespoons of oil, salt and pepper. If this is not enough, double the amounts.
- Pour the dressing over your Hawaiian salad, mix and enjoy!
Dietary advice
To change the recipe a little, why not opt for three-grain rice or wild rice? The latter is richer in fiber and protein than white rice and also contains many phytonutrients.
For a longer but lighter vinaigrette, instead of adding more oil, you can add a little water (but not too much, otherwise it could become tasteless!).
