Concrete vase, made with egg formwork!

Simple and very interesting! Make such a vase to decorate your veranda, terrace or balcony!

YOU NEED:

-5 crates for 30 eggs;

-scissors;

-hot silicone glue gun;

-a large garbage bag;

-oil;

-2 long sheets of plastic;

-Scottish can;

-cement;

-sand;

-Waterfall;

-a trowel and pots for preparing the mortar;

-several plastic tubes, about 1 cm in diameter;

-4 plastic cups.

METHOD:

1.Using scissors, trim the edges of the egg shells to make them even.

2. Then glue the edges with hot silicone to get one long piece from them. After gluing each formwork, tighten them as if you are pressing them towards the center, so that they become more plastic.

3. Glue the edges of the side formwork. Then you get a cylinder.

4.Place it on the work surface, on which the garbage bag is spread, and sprinkle its internal face with oil.

5.Line the inside with plastic sheets (first roll them into several layers, then insert them into the cylinder and leave them to open). Then gather the edges of the garbage bag and glue them to its external face with the help of scotch tape.

6. Once you have fixed the gun sack, as long as you fit the complete bottom of the cylinder on it, apply a small amount of tape to fit it: in this case you need to change the shape at the right time to fit the mortar.

7.Fill the space delimited by plastic sheets with sand, beating it well.

8.Combine cement and sand in a ratio of 1:2. Add the cold water and mix very well. You need to get a fairly liquid mortar.

9. Spread an even layer of mortar on the surface of the sand in the center of the sheets. Then gradually pour the mortar onto the edges of the cylinder so as to completely fill the space between the formwork and the plastic sheets. Finally, smooth the top layer of mortar very well and insert 4-5 plastic tubes: they should penetrate the layer of sand.

10. After the grout dries, remove the plastic tubes from it. This way you will get the drainage holes in the pot.

11.Remove the egg cartons from the surface of the pan.

12.Carefully turn it with the mouth upwards, removing the sand and sheets inside.

13.Tear off excess pieces of mortar from the top edge of the pot. Remove the remaining pieces of formwork from its surface.

14.Ca get the potted feet, pour the mortar into 4 plastic pods. Leave to curdle, then remove the shapes made from the pods.

15.Mix one tablespoon of cement and 3 tablespoons of water. Then moisten the points where the feet stick to the bottom of the pan and their lower surface with water. Glue them with the help of prepared mortar. Let them dry.

The pot is ready!

Fill it with substrate and plant your desired plant in it!

Good work!
